Well into my 2nd week of my 3rd year now.. must say its going swell hahhaa... ton of work to do.. and when I say ton of work its no the same as work in 2nd year .. 2nd year were mostly tutorials and stuff.. 3rd year Ive got loads to read.. Journals, articles, books, websites... never-ending.. but its interesting stuff so am not complaining.. (: just that I got to put my 'chick flick romantic' novels aside for the time being (: and then there are the presentations.. 1st lecture and we got told we've got to prepare a presentation for next week.. not a lot of time.. but we'll get it done Im sure (:

Oh and Im glad Ive 'booked' my project supervisor... Not really decided on the topic yet but its something to do with the spinal cord.. My supervisor is currently working on research projects himself.. All of which are on the spinal cord and back pains... Got this book to read from him...

My project supervisor was expecting me to choose him for my project haha.. oh well I didn wanna hurt his feelings by saying my physiology lecturer was all 'booked' up thats why I decided on him cos no one else in class like biomech as much as I do (yes yes Leslie the Nerd)

So yeah, Ive got a couple of weeks to understand more about the spinal cord and back pains and then veture into various aspects of it.. Like say, running with weights or how carrying bags from grocery shopping affects the back or how running can lead to back pain or most common sport with one of the highest back pain records - golf... so yeah loads of things to look into.. but am glad Im on track early on.. (:

Got a couple of hours in between classes and the gym so manage to catch the latest episode of Prison Break .. hee.. I just love it.. heading over for body pump in a while.. new class... all to do with weights.. lots of weights.... every session the instructor works a different section of the body. The weights area of the gym are always full of guys and its really intimidates me, most girls Ive spoken too all say the same, thats why hardly any girls use the weights in the gym. So this class has really helped (:
