Hell week is over.. for now.... never been happier to welcome the weekend (:

Been working really hard on my presentation... reading so much about it and getting my head round all the facts.. Presentation went alright.. Lecturer was pleased with it so yeah.. pretty happy with it.. slight boo boo that one of my group mates couldn turn up cos he was ill and I had to cover his part.. So I was literally speaking for almost 45 minutes.. got a taste of what it was like to give a lecture.. quite nerve recking actually haha.. but thats done and dusted.. just 1 more report due next week and I'll be report free till the next batch of reports are handed out.. cant wait.. not.. (:

Jessica kindly invited Angel, Damus, Alistair and myself for her graduation last night at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where she recieved a distinction degree in music...

Well, while we were all comfortably seated in the auditorium and the ceremony started.. and with all the profs and really really educated ppl in their gowns walked in and sat down.. I couldn help but notice the guy 2nd from the right... I nudged Alistair and said, "That guy looks really familiar... Ive seen him somewhere before..."... well about 2 seconds later it hit me... "OH!!! wasnt he the guy that acted in Wanted??!!!" Alistair stared at the guy for a while and was like, "Oh yeah.. James whats his name... McAvoy!!" hahah...

And that wasnt all.. know that old man who acted in Jurassic Park, the one that owned the park... Richard Attenborough was seated just a few sits down from James McAvoy haha.. bring on the actors.. who's next to show up hahah... boy were we in for a treat..

It was a really entertaining ceremony.. the students of the school did a short skit which was quite funny.. them mocking the Americans.. (: oh and there was this girl who sang opera.. really good voice..

I couldn stay after the ceremony.. had to rush off for training..

Soooo gutted that I had to leave.. Alistair and Damus managed to get a picture with James McAvoy ... one to keep and show their grandchildren haha...

Well training went really well... plan was to meet the rest of my classmates in town for a night out.. some of us had training to go to, those who didn would head to Fiona's first.. but guess everyone got a little too comfy at her place so ended up heading over to her's and staying there for the rest of the night.. just drinking and chatting.. had some really intense conversations though.. a little bit of the wii and a little bit of twister... here's poor Kim out for the night haha.. she was the only one who had one too many last night.. ♥

Got home at 4am this morning... thank god Gary gave me a lift home.. but ended up talking abt uni work and graphs for biomech reports for like half an hour haha.... Made it for my 9am lecture this morning.... BUT.... the lecturer didn!!!! should have just stayed in bed haha.. well since I was up ran a few errands... went to Borders to get my mom's magazine.. treated myself to a Gingerbread steamed milk from Starbucks.. which I didn really like haha.. still prefer Toffeenut... bought a scone from the cafe and it was straight back to bed for this missy..

Oh well... body clock needs re-adusting again.. spin class in the morning.. (: then its writing report..

Sat through 2 excruciating hours in class today... Name of class - Research & Ethics.. what did we have to do for this class today.. continue watching a video about human instinct and how/what we humans look for in a mate.. What has it got to do with the nature of the class.. NADA~!

Same Prof that taught us genetics in first year.. so we've kinda watched this video then.. he made us watch it last week but there was something wrong with the video so he had to stop it half-way... came into class today all chuffed that he had copied it onto a dvd and made us watch the rest of it hhaha... so pointless...

We went from a fully lit class....


To total darkness~!!! hahah we couldn even see the person sitting next to us haha.. and I had planned to write out my immunology notes while the video was running haha.. think I kinda dozed off at one point Zzzzz...


Spent a good 3 hours in the libray afterwards, after staying up all night the night before, doing this presentation for thursday.. arghhh an hour long presentation.. yikes....its on Physiology of Ageing and after doing so much research on it.. I really dont wanna grow old haha...not looking forward for whats installed... was in the library till abt 5 and looked out the window.. and it was dark outside.. days are getting shorter and shorter.. this part of the year really depresses me.. hate it so much.. was complaining and whining to Jaimie about it haha... but she always gives me the giggles (:


Made it to the gym today.. yeah!! haha.. seriously not been motivated at all the last few days... skipped it on friday AND sunday.. bad girl..


One thing that really really bugs me.. see when I go to the gym, I leave absolutely beetroot red, t-shirt soaked with sweat and just looking, well to simply put it - unglam.. but there are these girls who go and hardly break a sweat... I mean whats the point? they go to the gym wearing make up and huge ear rings going into the CV suite and coming out looking exactly the same.. why bother going to the gym if you are not going to work???


A week ago, I sent out 4 little cards with letters in them to 4 ppl whom I have not been in touch for a while and just wanted to tell them that they've been missed and that I do think about them.. ♥ Im so glad that they finally arrived.. was kinda getting worried that the postman had lost them somehere..


Oh and Pei Xuan is back in Singapore for a short holiday.. ): kinda wish I was home right now and not stuck with presentations, essays and journals.. bleah..


Well I think Ive procrastinated enough and should really do some reading before hitting the sack... Mom and Dad will be here in about 4 weeks!!! cant wait... ♥ this year is flying by so quickly...

Home again against Glasgow Uni just now.. (: Was absolutely crap during warm-up.. missing lay-ups.. shocking... wasnt surprise I didn get to play till the 3rd quarter.. but made it up with my first 3 of the season (: the girls are always saying that Im always smiling.. haha.. so I said I'll try to look serious and mean during the game.. which I did manage until I scored that 3 and they started to take the piss and made me laugh each time I was defending near the benches haha.. it was just pure hilarious.. haha.. I couldn stop laughing and smiling.. (:

We started the game real slow, down by a few points.. but manage to pick it up in the 2nd quarter and finally took the lead in the 3rd (: we won 87-54 our captain was soo chuffed haha.. she couldn stop jumping about hhaha...

Ah yes.. thats our horrendous strips... maroon coloured.. haha we all hate it btw.. (:

Just today while I was putting my my trainers, getting ready for the game, I noticed my trainers looking rather.. tattered and torn... Ive had them since... hmmm 2005?? and they have served me well... found 2 holes in them.. ): I do love my trainers.. cant bear to throw them away haha.. they've clocked many miles with me...♥ maybe I should ask Santa for a new pair.. (:


Spent the afternoon looking up journals and reading them.. spent more time helping Carl look for journals for his report haha..


See la u.. kept looking for journals for u.. by the time I had to do mine, I just couldn be bothered any more hahah... but found a few good ones which I seriously hope will give me the information I need for next weeks presentation... Bedtime story for the night.. bleah...

Cant wait to print off my Immunology essay.. been looking at it ever since Monday, tweaking it here and there... I should really just print it off and hand it in and not think abt it any more.. arghhhh...

am really addicted to Plain White T's 'new'-ish songs haha.. been playing them all day... all thanks to Alistair who got me listening to them on the train to Dumfries.. Lucky guy who has gone for another gig.. he seem to be getting along much better with his flat mates now.. dont need his lil old sister any more haha.. (:

Just got back to the flat after spending a wonderful time in Dumfries for the weekend...

I just wanted to get my Immunology Essay done and cos Justin and gang were over on thurs I just could not find the time to do it then.. so text the Aunt to say that Alistair and I wont be down till Saturday morning.. which allowed me to spend my whole friday in the library to do my essay (:

Early on Saturday morning (cant believe I actually manage to get up after having another late night), got the train down to Dumfries where Auntie Valerie was waiting for us.. Went into town to get Grandpa's birthday card and present...

Helped with dinner that night (: made the dessert too~!! Chicken in BBQ sauce it was.. always loved this dish...

Dessert - Eve's Pudding.. so simple yet so yummy...

*Watched X Factor that night.. argh!!! Cant believe Rachael and Daniel are still in and Laura had to get voted out cos of those 2..

Sunday morning.. Auntie Valerie, Uncle Robert, Alistair and myself all went to the church for Remembrance Day. It was a lovely service. Really enjoyed it.. all wore our little poppies on our jackets (:

Went to pick Grandpa straight after church and took him for his birthday lunch a Ken Bridge in New Galloway.. And on our way back, we stopped to see Auntie Nettie. If Im not wrong, Auntie Nettie use to be my dad's neighbour when he was just a little boy.. see the picture below, top left, I think he use to live along this street, one of the colored doors, jsut cant rememeber which one is it... (:


Well Auntie Nettie will be a 100 years old this coming march and she's still as bright as a button... must be something in the air or water hahah... (:

On our way back from New Galloway to Castle Douglas where Grandpa lives, we saw Red Kites in the sky.. We were told by our Auntie that they are really rare and were nearly extinct a while ago.. so we were really lucky to have seen them... you cant really see them in the top 2 pictures that I took, but thats what they are suppose to look like in the bottom picture.. (:

Haha below is Grandpa opening his birthday presents!!! haha... just like a little boy at christmas.. (: Alistair and I got him new PJs.. Dear Old Grandpa who will be 88 tmr.. (:

Well that pretty much sums up my weekend.. short get-away.. always love it.. back to Jordanhill tmr, laundry to do, Tesco shopping to do, forms to be handed in, assignments to be printed out.. back to the hustle and bustle of things..

When I was still in sch... FBT shorts were the crazye for any CCA that required running... I had loads of FBT shorts, butterfly cut, box cut, in many colours... the usual black, blue haha I had red, silver, purple.. I brought some along over to Glasgow and wear them in the gym.. but no one else wears shorts in the gym haha.. so I went out and got myself some gym/running tights.. and came across these adidas ones.. thoughtmI should do my part for Breast Cancer too.. so got them.. and now i totally understand why most of the females in the gym wear them.. they keep everything in place.. haha and I do mean in place... no jiggling bums and thighs.. still getting use to them though.. they are so warm to run in..

Had a surprise visit from Justin (from JI) and some of his friends on thurs.. he's doing an exchange down at Newcastle Uni... Justin and his friends are doing a road trip round Scotland and chose Glasgow as their starting point to meet.. His other friends, Wilvin flew in from Paris, Auguste and Aik flew in from Bristol.. and geez... Auguste does a really mean Russell Peters impersonation~!! hahah.. Carl, I had my very own show here in Glasgow ahha and it was free~!!! I took videos of him though but it was kinda rude so better not post it up hee... (:

Kinda spend the day showing them ard Glasgow haha.. had to leave them once in a while for classes and bball training... but hey I got them to try this...

Seven deadly sins.. this has to be the deadliest!!! hahah Deep Fried Mars Bars - Glasgow style... I just wanted to see what it looked like after hearing all the rave about it...

Doesnt look very appetizing though.. but.. *bowing head down in guilt* I had a bite.. the thought of millions of calories going down my throat just didn come to mind when I took the first bite ahha it was good to be honest.. but one bite was all I master haha..cos after that all I could think of was "a moment on the lips, forever on the hips" thanks Nick.... the rest of them had deep fried prime ribs and deep fried haggis haha.. thats what u get at a chippy.. deep fried everything!! and I do mean everything.. from scotch pies to pizzas... hhaha can you imagine.. deep fried pizzas...

Am suppose to be at my aunt's right now but I really wanted to get my immunology essay done by today.. so spent the day in the library getting it down and postponed going down till saturday morning.. Poor Alistair had to miss 1 good dinner haha (:

Did my first 10k on the treadmill of the sem~!!... felt soo good after it... well thats a lie.. haha.. i was absolutely knackered by the end of it.. and extremely bored haha.. I kept wondering how I managed them in the past.. I was on the bloody treadmill so long that ppl kept coming on and off it and I was still on it!!!! haha..

Abbe.. was thinking of u when I was at the 6k mark haha.. it brought me back to when we first ran at macritchie and took pictures at the markers (:

Doubt I'll be doing another one anytime soon cos my knees are both killing me at the moment.. I had to give circuits and spin a miss today cos I had class.. ):

Went to watch the new James Bond film with Hazel (flatmate) this evening.. only cos the brother went with his flatmates...really enjoyed it.. they had to wreck a bloody aston martin and alfa romeo right at the beginning of the show.. yikes.. first time I think... James Bond doesnt say anything sleek.. no "Bond, James Bond" shenanigan or no sizzling sex scene with the new bond girl, no ticking time bomb he had to stop... really straight forward story line that I found very refreshing for a James Bond film.. I like Daniel Craig as the new Bond.. he kinda growns on me haha... the girls in the flat are infatuated cos of his pout haha...

Anyhos..... made it for Body Pump today after an excruciating 3 hour psychology lecture.. decided to increase the weights today and boy did I feel it during the session... clean and jerk... geeez... the noise I was making.. haha... am knackered now.. I should be in bed... well I should be in bed everyday at 10pm but do I make it to bed at 10pm everyday.. far from it.. haha do a little bit here... clean up a little there... read something here.. and poof its almost.. well it is 1am already!!... bullocks..
