When I was still in sch... FBT shorts were the crazye for any CCA that required running... I had loads of FBT shorts, butterfly cut, box cut, in many colours... the usual black, blue haha I had red, silver, purple.. I brought some along over to Glasgow and wear them in the gym.. but no one else wears shorts in the gym haha.. so I went out and got myself some gym/running tights.. and came across these adidas ones.. thoughtmI should do my part for Breast Cancer too.. so got them.. and now i totally understand why most of the females in the gym wear them.. they keep everything in place.. haha and I do mean in place... no jiggling bums and thighs.. still getting use to them though.. they are so warm to run in..

Had a surprise visit from Justin (from JI) and some of his friends on thurs.. he's doing an exchange down at Newcastle Uni... Justin and his friends are doing a road trip round Scotland and chose Glasgow as their starting point to meet.. His other friends, Wilvin flew in from Paris, Auguste and Aik flew in from Bristol.. and geez... Auguste does a really mean Russell Peters impersonation~!! hahah.. Carl, I had my very own show here in Glasgow ahha and it was free~!!! I took videos of him though but it was kinda rude so better not post it up hee... (:

Kinda spend the day showing them ard Glasgow haha.. had to leave them once in a while for classes and bball training... but hey I got them to try this...

Seven deadly sins.. this has to be the deadliest!!! hahah Deep Fried Mars Bars - Glasgow style... I just wanted to see what it looked like after hearing all the rave about it...

Doesnt look very appetizing though.. but.. *bowing head down in guilt* I had a bite.. the thought of millions of calories going down my throat just didn come to mind when I took the first bite ahha it was good to be honest.. but one bite was all I master haha..cos after that all I could think of was "a moment on the lips, forever on the hips" thanks Nick.... the rest of them had deep fried prime ribs and deep fried haggis haha.. thats what u get at a chippy.. deep fried everything!! and I do mean everything.. from scotch pies to pizzas... hhaha can you imagine.. deep fried pizzas...

Am suppose to be at my aunt's right now but I really wanted to get my immunology essay done by today.. so spent the day in the library getting it down and postponed going down till saturday morning.. Poor Alistair had to miss 1 good dinner haha (:

Did my first 10k on the treadmill of the sem~!!... felt soo good after it... well thats a lie.. haha.. i was absolutely knackered by the end of it.. and extremely bored haha.. I kept wondering how I managed them in the past.. I was on the bloody treadmill so long that ppl kept coming on and off it and I was still on it!!!! haha..

Abbe.. was thinking of u when I was at the 6k mark haha.. it brought me back to when we first ran at macritchie and took pictures at the markers (:

Doubt I'll be doing another one anytime soon cos my knees are both killing me at the moment.. I had to give circuits and spin a miss today cos I had class.. ):

Went to watch the new James Bond film with Hazel (flatmate) this evening.. only cos the brother went with his flatmates...really enjoyed it.. they had to wreck a bloody aston martin and alfa romeo right at the beginning of the show.. yikes.. first time I think... James Bond doesnt say anything sleek.. no "Bond, James Bond" shenanigan or no sizzling sex scene with the new bond girl, no ticking time bomb he had to stop... really straight forward story line that I found very refreshing for a James Bond film.. I like Daniel Craig as the new Bond.. he kinda growns on me haha... the girls in the flat are infatuated cos of his pout haha...

Anyhos..... made it for Body Pump today after an excruciating 3 hour psychology lecture.. decided to increase the weights today and boy did I feel it during the session... clean and jerk... geeez... the noise I was making.. haha... am knackered now.. I should be in bed... well I should be in bed everyday at 10pm but do I make it to bed at 10pm everyday.. far from it.. haha do a little bit here... clean up a little there... read something here.. and poof its almost.. well it is 1am already!!... bullocks..

Started writing this post this afternoon... more like posting pointless pictures haha and its 12.45am now and Im only starting to write something... had a somewhat unproductive day today... didn even make it to the gym.. took the day off.. literally...

I really despise days like this.. a day like today where Im feeling really lethargic, bored silly, day that feels really pointless.. arghh frustrating... facebook can only do that much, take that much time out of the day.. ah well.. at least its the end of the day now.. tmr is a brand new day, something to look forward to.. guess Im still feeling frustrated from what I was talking to partner about this afternoon.. bugging me real bad.. will have to just sleep on it..

Had quite a productive post-halloween day today... made it to spin just in the nick of time (had quite a hard time getting out of bed after just getting into it just a few hours before having to get out of it again... )... met the brother for some tesco shopping, late lunch and a hair cut for him (: Looking much better now after not having a hair cut for what 5 weeks now?? hahaha... looking smart now (:

Rushed home for X-factor... Disco was the theme for this week's performance... Live performances were all great... had to wait an hour before the result show.. watched Family Fortunes haha amazing show hahha... one question that got the girls in the flat all involved including urs truely... haha...

well a bit of entertainment for us girls... decided to watch a dvd... but before we could get to the dvd, we decided to carve the pumpkin I brought back from Fiona's and that is how Bob the Pumpkin was born....

Step 1: Remove top half of pumpkin and start scraping out the insides with a spoon... easier said than done, trust me....

FYI... pumpkin smell... not very plesant ... this is what it should look like after scraping out the insides... should end up with a well-scraped pumpkin and a very bent spoon....

and thou shall not waste... insides can be use to make pumpkin tart, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup but.... which part of the pumpkin is used??? god only knows haaha so just save everything, cant go wrong with that.... (: heard the seeds are good for u...

Step 2: Draw the outline of the face and start carving.... get a really sharp knife and start cutting out bits of pumpkin... never let someone who just drank a bottle of wine do this... she'll just start stabbing the poor pumpkin... (: (not a pretty sight when Hazel got hold of the knife)

Step 3: Put the lid back on...

Step 4: Place a candle inside the pumpkin... FYI... do not use tap as handles... candle will just burn it hahah... again learnt that the hard way when we nearly had a crispy Bob...

*Happy Halloween*

Had a really good halloween... one filled with laughs, sugar and terrific company... (:

The girls decided to stay in this year as Alison, Lexy, Fiona all have matches/races tmr morning.. so we did the next sensible thing.. made treats and finger food, went over to Fiona's and watched a dvd... Fiona did such a great job decorating the flat.. haha Ive never really celebrated halloween.. so tonight was amazing... my walk to the train station alone.. eye-opener I must say... I met several draculas, the usual fairies, some goths (not sure if they looked like that everyday though.. hmmm), ohh met scobby doo haha.., batman, Fred Flintstone, Minnie Mouse, a giant cotton ball, a CSI agent... and this was just walking to the train station.. hahah..

*cake that Alison made... which looked like this when I got to the flat and left the flat haha... brought some back for my flatmates... they must think Im trying to fatten them up....

The plan was to watch a scary movie.. well being a very scardy cat that I am hahah... managed to change their minds to this show instead... really enjoyed it...

After the dvd... the madness started hahah... Fiona bough face paint...being halloween and all, everyone was well up for it.. haha it was just for a laugh... such a good laugh it was...(: we took turns painting each other's faces....

hahahah we were all shattered by the end of the night... but its always fun hanging out with my classmates.. all in our comfy clothes, slouching on the couch on a friday night with a dvd...
