You Me got to get acquainted... !

Love-Hate relationship okok maybe not Love-Hate, more like Like-Hate haha... Good thing, they help me get to places and rest my other leg which Im totally dependent on now and gets tired really easily. Bad thing, Im so lousy at them haha.. I keep falling over specially going up and down stairs.. wont be surprise if I end up cracking my head open instead! haha.. (:

these will be my support buddy, pillor of strength, cursing buddy as I try to go up and down stairs for the next week or so... was told I'd be using them for abt 2 weeks but I think 1 week is enough (:

Ended up in A&E.. didn have much of a choice really... called for an appointment at my local GP, only day I could see my GP was next monday so got told to go to A&E instead which I did, as I was told.. (:

After several X-rays (no broken bones), several attempts to walk by myself in front of the doctor (which I failed miseably haha) and getting pushed ard in a wheel-chair which to be honest, I didn really like, got sent home with painkillers, crutches and several flyers for physios and other stuff..

Well I'll try not to be a DRAMA QUEEN.. no one to be a drama queen to anyways haha... full of smiles so even if I was in pain, Ive got boxes of painkillers to help me through it.. just wish I had them last night though haha...

Ive got 3 classes tmr, 3 different buildings with an hour break in between each of them. That'll give me plenty of time to get to places (:

We'll see how I get on tmr haha..

Just got back from Dundee (:

Weird being back there again, back to where I use to work. Seeing familiar faces haha... just strange, and the new buildings.. wow.. cant wait for my uni to start work on the new gym as well now (:

Went to Dundee to play one of the last few games of the uni league against Dundee Uni... We only had like 7 players haha.. long drive across?? or down?? either ways haha... the sky was so clear on the way back, saw a couple of Orion the Hunter, the Seven sisters... Im talking abt stars here... nvm haha...

Well after several shouts, pushed, "crackes" we managed to beat them 88-50 not too bad I guess.. haha Owen, a guy whom I use to go to college with was one of the ref.. strange feeling haha... but Dundee always left me with something to remember it and this is what I left Dundee with tonight.. (:

Know u know why I said 'cracks' haha.. never heard my foot make that kinda sound before but it didn hurt as much as I thought it would so yeah (: hopefully it wont be that bad tmr... playing against Glasgow uni tmr, tough game

First day of uni was not as painful as everyone had anticipated (: new classes... Healthy Nutrition was the first class of this sem haha.... we're suppose to keep a food diary soon, dont think my lecturer will be to pleased if all I have in it is rabbit sweets and dried mango haha.. dont think he'll know what they are either~! haha... interesting class too will tell u guys more abt it soon... need to run a few errands for Damus & Angel who have kindly offered to cook dinner tonight (:

= Pineapple Tarts Night =

Attempted to make pineapple tarts last night. Since exams are over and classes only start on monday. Angel found a really easy recipe for them so we tried it out last night...

Made dinner for them first, thought of making something different instead of curry chicken, or bak kut teh or pork belly or fish haha... experimenting with food... so made

Chicken wrapped in parma ham with sage,stuffing, mashed potato (with gravy, but gravy was still simmering on the stove) and boiled vege...

*Angeline aranged the food including 'moulding' the mash (:

According to the recipe, the pineapple jam had to be made a day in advance so Friday night after dinner at TGI Friday we went back to Angeline's place to make it - oh plus a short trip to Tesco Extra in the cold cold rain first haha... Jam took hardly anytime. We did it all in the microwave.

Pastry was not that hard to make either.. hardest part of it all was putting the 2 lots together.

Being amateurs at this, it was like arts & crafts all over again in primary sch haha.. the various shapes and sizes.. we didn have a proper mould to cut the pastry to we did everything by hand... we had fat round base, thin ones, wrapped ones, heart -shaped ones, star shaped ones haha all sorts

Last day to relax and do anything I want.. Its like deja vu all over again...28th Sept '07 I was blogging how uni classes for semester 1 were about to start on monday too... now im writing about how classes for semester 2 are about to start on monday.. half way through and I'll be able to come home..

Different circumstances, different status, different emotions.. Just different everything (: but I guess it was all worth it..

Snuggled up in bed, with pilows around me, under the sheets, a hot cup of tea and a good book on a saturday afternoon...

Monday - Library, sleep
Tuesday - Library, cake party in library (:
Wednesday - Exam.. not too sure how it went. Came out feeling.. how do I put it.. " Bleahz" wait and see what the results are like...
Thursday - Dinner with usual people and Jean (: tesco shopping..

late late LATE night studying in the library, gummie bears, panicing for an exam that will probably have the same questions as past papers, spotting questions, doing questions over and over again, exam DID have same questions as past papers, well spotted, exam over, celebrated Chee Hao's bday, over-ordered, over-ate, 56 pounds worth of food into a toilet bowl same night, night out with uni mates, TGIF with usuals, fight with dryer, damp clothes, attempting to make pineapple tarts over weekend.. ..

as u can see... I lead a very boring life haha.. same routine day in day out. 4 days of rest before classes start proper again on monday... cant wait for results to come out. Went to Borders before dinner last night, bought a couple of books to keep me company at nights now :) cant rely on serial shows...

Burns Night today.. gonna try to find a place that sells Neeps, Tatties and Haggis.. (turnip, potato and this 3-legged thing that runs ard in the moutain)

ought to be fun... (:
