Memory... is the diary that we all carry about with us.....

Memories... You create new memories each and everyday.. Be it good or bad.. well why would u wanna keep bad memories.. but I guess thats just how the human mind works.. It stores memories you wanna keep and even those you try so hard to forget.. I hold onto some memories oh so dearly.. memories with my loved one, my family and my friends.. trying to forget bad memories from the past...
But that said.. they do have a habit of creeping up and bitting you in the butt when you least expect it to.. Ive been told Ive got a selective memory.. again in both a good and bad way.. but recently Ive been having a lot of re-occuring dreams that come from memory.. things that Ive not thought of in a long while.. issues, memories which I thought I have locked away at the back of my head never to surface again but guess the body do play tricks on you once in a while... Im just so tired and frustrated with myself for feeling the way I feel.. I created those memories and I should be able to get rid of them.. but it has proven to be so much harder than I have ever anticipated... is it cause I am just a weak person? or my mind is just too stubborn, wanting to hold on to those memories for keepsake...
When people keep memories, some people choose to keep bad memories.. I tend to remember people with happy faces on them.. well picture this... slow motion laugh (: thats the mental picture I have of everyone I know.. weird ya.. been told that so many times.. even in my memories thats how people are portrayed to me..
Whatever that is making me feel the way Ive been feeling.. I really want it to go away.. maybe Im just homesick, or in need of a good cry.. whatever it is I just want it to go away.. I feel tired all the time, even when Im asleep, my mind doesnt seem to be, waking up feeling exhauted like Ive not slept a wink.. cant seem to be able to concentrate long enough to get anything done.. arghhh frustration, annoyed that I cant even do my first lab report for uni properly and am already struggling to complete it.. that's not me... its just not...

Best I can do is make people around me happy.. when I see my friends happy.. I feel a sense of joy that I've made them happy.. (: I wouldn trade that for anything... I would do anything for the ppl around me, family included, for they have done so much for me..

Im just an emo slob tonight for god knows what reason.. just needed an oulet...

miss you guys

BOOKS

Mubina (missing you Fatter!) got me hooked onto reading this book after we went to watch the movie together.. and I just love to watch a movie then read the book to compare... I was going to wait till the next one comes out before reading the book.. but I could not put it down! I read it on my way to australia and finished it as soon as I got here... Went into the first Borders I saw in Sydney and bought the next one (New Moon) and started reading it as soon as I could.. its the best way to kill time on the ferry to and from uni as well.. I was just so eager to know what's gonna happen next. Is Bella gonna become a vampire? What is Edward gonna do next? sucker for a love story.. now im itching to buy the next one... heee...

Well on the topic of books... Mom and Dad called on skype just a couple of minutes ago asking what I was doing up so late.. My reply to that, "colouring".. yes hahah colouring.. Ive got a workbook that requires me to colour in different anatomy of the brain.. Im doing a module on Physiology Psychology that require me to know neuroanatomy hence the workbook.. So Ive just spent the last 2 hours finishing a chapter on nerves and answering the questions... hahah

Dad's reaction was classic. "3rd year in university and you are colouring?" hahaha.. who would have thought eh... the aussie way... (:

on another note, really hope Avril's cough gets better... looking and sounding really miserable tonight at dinner... remember TAKE TO TAKE UR COUGH MIXTURE~! Same goes to you Ah Kong Low... plus I have a really really burnt and miserable Gargie.. ):
poor Diane...

"Dead Blog"
"Why never update?"

My bad.. haha.. Ive just not had the time to! Honest to god... Time here just flies right by... Juggling between uni classes, tutorials, housework, running, playing with Russell, talking to my parents on skype, shopping for food, ice-cream by the time I start to wind its already almost midnight!

Crikey... dont get me wrong, Im loving my time here.. my gargie (diane) who always makes me laugh, our house mates Avril and Ah Kong Low who are always up for ice-cream, where dear Avril has 2 spoonsful and says Im full (says Diane) hahaha.. couldn ask for better company! *winks*

Here's a little update...
Spent the weekend in Syndey (as you would)... Gotta thank Tian Li and Ines for giving me an air-conditioned room and bed to sleep in! hahah.. I still love my bed in the garage with my personal fan (:

Kelvin had an interview in Sydney on wed and stayed on so I had a "not to experienced tour guide who did try his best" haha.. (: Oh and congrads on getting the job!

Well typical touristy pictures... the harbour bridge and Opera House in all its glory...

Took the chance to meet with Ryan for dinner.. always a pleasure Partner.. (: Pancakes on the rocks.. amazing place!..

Oooo Krispy Kreme.. walked past it.. swear I didn walk in! hahah... had a weird craving for bubble tea that day.. odd..

Oooo one more OOoooo ahaha.. Kelvin and I were walking along Darling Harbour, exploring the place and we came across this! hahaha... Bollywood movie in the making! hahah I thought I recognised the actor (not that I watch a lot of Bollywood films haha).. Alistair gets to meet James Mcavoy and Kiefer Sutherland, I get to meet a Bollywood actor.. (:

Darling Harbour, Sydney Opera House at night... I know my photos are rubbish haha.. I forgot to bring my camera along so had to make do with my phone camera haha.. *doinks*

We went to Huntervalley for a day.. wine tasting.. new experience for me haha... bought a bottle of wine for the house.. on our way back we stopped at this Aqua Golf place.. very interesting place hahah...

Right see how there are boards bobbing in the lake, well under those boards are nets.. and if u hit into the net, you win what ever is on the board. Say your golf balls falls into a Subway board, you win Subway vouchers! haha... this poor soul was trying so hard, but his ball were always way off haha... better luck next time buddy...

We went for German food at this place with some of Tian Li's friends from Uni.. reminded me a lot of Germany.. food tasted just as good.. sausages and beer haha.. they had entertainment like Beer drinking competition and all.. loads of ppl were having celebrations there.. there were like 3 birthday celebrations, at least 2 Hen Nights and 1 Stag Night... good night...

Our taste buds were put to the test one night.. Sichuan extra spicy soup! wohooo... awesome.. haha

Bondi beach on the last day where the boys helped themselves to a deep fried mars bar each with me cringing while they eat.. reiterating to them that each bite is probably a gazillion calories haha...

I had the BEST Jap sashimi dinner that night.. avocado chawanmushi, fresh sashimi.. awww if only I can have that everyday... yums...

Not to mention our little visit to the fish market where I had super fresh sashimi.. arghhhh Well that was my trip to Sydney in a nut shell.. not much of a picture taking kinda person as you can tell.. haha... but I had fun.. (:

But while I was away, I did miss my gargie, and the lovely couple and of course Russell (who Bryan calls my bf now..) who wouldn want such a cutie haha.. (:

Oh and I hand-carried home an entire passionfruit cheesecake for the house! hahaha I did take half a day out in Sydney to study and do my tutorials so that work will not pile up...

QUT gives you so much work! and people have been telling me that Australians are very laid back people.. sheesh.. If I dont do work everyday, I dunno how to get everything done. So much more compared to what I do in Glasgow.. Im actually enjoying the work.. it doesnt feel like a chore eventhough I do complain abt it when my eyes gets tired from all the reading haha..

Anyways.. speaking of work, Ive yet to finish my tutorial... long day at uni tmr.. wheee... and I'll have my long weekend! (:
