SHu went to Haji Lane from bedok while I drove from home so we couldn take one car.. we were driving beside each other on the way back. As soon we stopped the traffic lights we both took our cameras out hahah.... can so read ur mind abbe (:

Right, on to Wednesday... (: Drove over to Jamie's place in the morning to show her how to make tiramisu... (:

Spent the rest of the afternoon with mummy peacock who took the day off... went to AMK hub for lunch and a bit of shopping.. wanna buy gifts for my uni friends in Glasgow ... we were done with AMK quite early so went to City Plaza for a bit of window shopping... (:

Met Fairuz and Elisa in the evening for Ayam Penyet at Lucky Plaza.. which means Smashed Chicken haha.. trust me I gave Fairuz the look the first time I heard it haha.. but it was sooo yummy (:

Met Jamie after for 'some' drinks at zouk... last mambo for the year... not that I go every week. Testing to see if my liver works once in a while helps haha (: great place to meet everyone at the same time as well~!!!

Spent the entire late morning till evening with SHu today... started with wantan mee at Kopi & Tea, best wantan mee ever... (: then to tcc for tea and some reading while we waited for our movie to start. Watched Stepbrothers, kinda fell asleep half way. Not sure whether cos I was tired or the show was kinda boring haha.. maybe Im just getting old. Am my mom's daugther afterall. And this is a woman who can never keep her eyes open in front of any tv or in the cinemas haha...

Walked about town after the show for a bit and SHu went to meet her bf while I went to meet Kelly for dinner (:

We've been friends for what... almost 12 years now.. hahah we use to study together over at each other's houses, went for ballet lessons together, played (or at that time, tried playing bball) haha, seen each other go through our fair share of boys, my honeypot partner haha, buying girlie stuff together hahaha (you know what Im talking abt)... am glad I was able to spend time with you today (: thank you for everything ... ♥

hahaha toufu cheesecake.. ever tried it haha.. its noice!!! came in this strange bird cage thingy haha without the bird though... beats SHu's strawberry soy dessert thingy from TCC hahaha...

SHu held a small birthday party on saturday night for just her close friends (: glad to be one of them abbe... Pot luck party... I brought along home-made chicken curry... Charissa made like loads of stuff, pineapple fried rice, omelette, vege haha.. u are so trained so be a house wife my dear!! (: hahha

and a party aint a party without some wii action.. thanking u *marc haha...

Durian cake from 717 is the best, honest to god... awesome cake... (: beats Angie's choice and Goodwood hotel's.... and u know what abbe, my parents finished the durian puffs u got me!!... I was mortified ):

A day at the physiotherapist.....

wonky calf was giving me problems again and with all the running I have been doing (trying to make myself feel better, not ran since Nike Human Race.. haha but who's noticing) calf was cramping in the middle of the nights and feeling tender for a few days after. So SHu got me an appointment with her physio.

It was a classic "Leslie (male), this is Leslie (female)," scenario. hahah Leslie the physio, Leslie the patient.

Forgot what the end diagnosis was to be honest... acute something.. well anything acute aint good haha.. but he said all I needed was someone to massage the calf for me. Like that's gonna happen.. haha.. blame me for having feet with a high arch...

Food glorious food... lots of food.. haha honestly, Ive not eaten so much in one sitting ever!!! haha...

Tuesday, met Kelly at Chinatown to shop a bit before meeting her friends, Delwin and Jeremy for dinner. Had an unfortunate encounter with a really rude shop owner who was just pure mean. Pure pure rude and mean. But anyho, we went to Bedok for the famous Ba Chor Mee.. and it was soo worth the trip. This is me thinking we'll be going there for noodles... but oh no haha... then there was carrot cake and oyster omelette and then came chicken wings and then sting ray.. hahaha I was sooo full by the end of that... like seriousy seriously full, thank god I was wearing a dress haha... and again silly Leslie thought that was the end but noooo Holland Village was up next. 2am dessert place. haha by golly, my stomach was working over-time by the end of the night.. hahah

Back tracking a bit... The Sunday before last. After Nike Human Race. Rushed down to Jurong for Alistair's surprise farewell party organised by his best buddy Edwin...

All this friends attended the surprise party and he was surprised alright. (: Big thank you to all his friends who turned up. And a big big thank you to Edwin and his family for doing this for Alistair (:

Last Friday was the last day of work for both my brother and myself. 2 weeks of holiday before uni starts again and the mad rush of studying and assignments will begin...

Last weekend was mad. Re-applying for entry permit, lunch @ dad's colleague's house, shoot for Fannie, dinner after, suppose to meet girls for drinks but that fell throw, promised Carl I'd give Butter a go so I did (:

Had to work on Sunday, but was gonna meet Kelly afterwards for mahjong and dinner so she came with me to work for a while. Went to her friend's house, Delwin for mahjong. Whole idea for Kelly to come with me, was so that she could point me in the right direction. hahah but girls being girls, every road looked the same to her haha but we found it eventually!!!! She and her friends are quite the mahjong ppl haha.. I was soo rusty. They were nice enough to explain everything to me patiently and wait for me to make any move.. (:

Dinner was at this place in Central. Cant quite rememeber the name of the restaurant. But it was japanese western fusion food.

It was soo good to finally be able to catch up on sleep. No alarm clocks to wake me.. was hoping the sun would be out but guess it decided to take the day off as well.

Lunch time at work doesnt just mean heading down to the canteen for food. It also includes daily gossips, work talk and topics to discuss on.. and today was no different.. we talked about this book.

♥ Love Languages ♥

I got asked what my Love Language was. And it made me think for a while. Am I a lovey dovey cuddly kinda person who needs to be told constantly that Im being loved, or actions are all it takes... Like what I said to my colleagues I guess I swing both ways haha.. (u get what I mean)...

What is my Love Language.. I think I show it through little things. I like buying silly things that have a purpose. From burning one fav song onto a tiny cd to mini fans for warm weathers or even just baking a cake.

HELLO SHARON~~!!! haha.. Sharon's love language is definitely giving little post-its with little msgs on them.. right?? haha... cos ive got like a few stuck on my laptop already haha..

Then we started talking abt children. Most of my colleagues are married with children so its refreshing to hear the little habits that their children or babies have (: From writing letters to dead fishes in heaven to opening drawers and throwing pampers all over the place. Made me miss my babies from the infant care and toddlers from the child care (:

oh well... work.. 3 more days of work... time sure does fly.. jam packing my days, make full use of every minute left in Singapore, which isnt a lot..

3 months, where did my 3 months go. Its gonna be bitter sweet leaving.. I use to have 1 main reason for not wanting to leave, but this summer, Ive got more reasons for not wanting to go.. lots lots more.. its gonna be so hard, and to think I would have gotten used to it by now..

Am reading this book at the moment and I totally wanna recommend it to everyone. It's a very easy book to read.
