Just a small change to my blog.. nothing spectacular.. tried to do everything myself though.. not a very creative person so this is kinda what I could come up with (:
Made dinner for a bunch of Singaporeans on Saturday.. totally forgot that it was the Scotland-Italy game.. so obviously ppl were late wanting to watch till the whistle was blown.. Wanted to make real home food.. so made chicken curry, bak kut teh, sambal kang kong and basil beef...
Everything was cleared by the end of the night, which either means they were all super duper hungry or my cooking isnt as bad as I think it is hee.. (:
Me being the sad person I am didn have any rice at home.. had to get Daemus and Angel to cook the rice and bring it over.. didn think my tiny rice cooker could do the job...

Read more...It has been a week of birthdays, cake, blood donation, or not donating blood, strong winds and cold days....
Had labs at Jordanhill on thurs and Alison baked a cake for Ailidh, who's bday was on the sat before (she turned 19.. young one (: ) and Billy who is gonna turn 21 on the 21st of Nov..

The cake got 'slightly' smashed as Alison had to run to class hahah... the middle bit was suppose to be a smily face.. (: hehe...
Check out the candles haha.. Alison couldn find normal candles so she got these 2 instead.. obviously the lite beer is for Billy haha and the other for Ailidh...

Friday, Kim was gonna go donate blood and I went with her hoping to do the same.. u know b useful and donate some blood... but sadly I couldn... went to Batam with Jon and my family for 1 night and apparently Indonesia is a Malaria infested place so I have to wait a whole year before I am able to give blood again safely.. worthe the trip though but kinda disappointed...
Look how nice it is haha ... they have an actual centre for donating blood. From what I remember, Singapore does it in community centres, on badminton courts haha..

Saturday was Grandpa's birthday... he turned 87 years old! got him a nice card and some diabetic fudge for his birthday. Took him out for a nice italian meal and basically spent the day with him.. he had a good birthday (:
*Dear Old Grandpa*Saturday was Remembrance Day.. Auntie gave me a poppy to wear.. A day to remember ppl who died in all the wars... Went to Rememberance Sunday at church, was a good service.. made dinner for auntie and uncle and came back on the train to Glasgow...
Kim and I were in a giggly mood today for some odd reason. Could not stop laughing, she would burst out laughing and it would get be going and so on and so on haha.. good work out for my abs though.. haha..
Will be heading to Stirling later on for a bball game.. but its freezing outside.. arghhh..

Read more...Went for a "Flat-warming" party last night in the West End.. Jason's new flat that he rented with 3 other Glasgow uni ppl.. the 4 strathclyde uni ppl went together (: as usual, did our little stop at Little Italy for pizza, was a pot luck party. so a pizza is always Angeline's and my solution hahaa...
Flat was filled with Glasgow uni training doctors to be from Singapore.. was in one of the rooms and this reminded me of Jon so much.. hehe ...
And our favourite flavour - period... hehe...

wish i had some in my fridge now hehehe.... Jon and I were crazy over this.. haha Ben and Jerry's big time fan haha... yumz....
Had to swap shift in order to go for this thing and realised it was a dumb thing to do. We left the party early cos it was boring and heading over to Thinderbox for coffee and cake. We sat and talked for ages. Everything under the sun.. it was well good...
Got invited over to Damus and Angel's flat today for dinner.. Damus made his mom's chicken with ginger and wine dish.. it was good... haha we were arranging the time to go over to Glasgow Green to watch Guy Fox Night fire works and realised, cos I had swapped shift I was on duty on monday instead.. Dammit.. but think Im gonna sneak out for a few hour ahaha.. no one ever calls though.. *fingers and toes crossed!*
Love fireworks... the last time i saw fire works was with Auntie Liz at Marina Bay driving range haha.. having Cheng Tung while the boys were at the range... great view we had.. (:

After coming back from dinner, finished up my lab report, got most of it done.. submission date is tmr. Lecturers will only be marking one report but I thought I would do them all to get them out of the way. but to cut a long story short, lab 5 couldn be done yet.. not to please.. hmmmm
PLUS!! someone used up all my aluminium foil!! ALL of it!! GONE!! argh... taking without asking. hate that so much...
haiz..well Jon's in uni now.. (7 o'clock in the morning singapore time) getting ready for a presentation he has to do.. and here's me just abt to go to bed. 9 am lecture tmr morning.. classes all the way up to 5.. not fun..
Good luck baby for ur presentation.. am sure u'll do just fine...
