Went to the Student Union on Monday for our break and while in the toilet, this machine caught my eye....

hahaha.. see what I mean.. could not stop giggling when I saw this. I mean, will you ever find one of these in any of the NUS toilets.. or SMU toilets for that matter?? haha... give u a closer to look to what it is actually selling... If u still cant make out what it says and need to get ur glasses, dont bother, keep it that way.. its for the best.. dont think that generation will be able to handle this. hehe (:

Cheeky aint it haha... oh well.. that kinda started the giggles for me and it kinda passed round to the rest of the girls who couldn help but join in... and it went on all the way through Biophysical Instrumentation Lecture... where Alison decided to show of her art skills by sketching the lecutrer haha.. Keeping in mind, this is a lecturer who literally jumps abt in class, waving her hands all over the place explaining what tranducers and amplifiers are.. u heard me transducers and amplifiers... not how kangeroos hop or what haha.. but she still does it with so much animation (:

Well other than that.. I've been trying to do as much as I can for the environment.. well little things that help.. Throwing things into the recycling bins, bringing my own shopping back to Tesco whenever I shop, and today.. bought a box of oatcakes which were "Orang Utan Friendly"

hehe oh well.. knackered from the gym as usual.. oh had a bball games again Caledonian Uni last night.. totally forgot that we had a friendly.. was hoping to slack at training and found out there was a match! but hey, we did well.. beat them 58-22 which was good, it being the first time we played as a team. (:

Well Jon has been out for mee sua and tau huay with his mates and it got me thinking abt short street tau huay... sobz.. missing it terribly now.. haha.. he was suppose to be sleeping but decided to go for supper.. cant wait to see him struggly out of bed tmr morning at 6.15am cos of golf. HA!! good luck to him hehe..

Well today is the end of my 5th week at uni.. handing in my lab book on monday for marking so got to work this weekend..

I always start my post with "I know I haven't been blogging or I know this, I know that....." Well this one aint any different haha...

I know Hari Raya has been over for like 2 weeks and I'm only talking abt it now hehe.. but yes I am talking abt it cos I had the priviledge of celebrating it with Brunei, Malaysians and Singaporeans, which has been great... so much so that I left poor baby aside - long story wont talk abt it, done and dusted, kissed and made up (: *virtually of course*

It was a great Raya, had good food, small snacks that the Brunei ppl brought over from Brunei which were really nice, very similar to those u get when u visit ur malay friends' houses.. (:

Meet Joe Black....

Well im no kidding.. his name is Joe and he is pretty much black haha....

Was down in Dumfries over the weekend to visit my auntie, uncle and of course my grandfather who is doing so well after his "near-death" experience...

Always have a good time when I'm down. Good food, good company and always busy. Running errands, going to church with Auntie, always kept busy...

Saturday morning was spent at Auntie Valerie's church which was doing Coffee Morning to help raise funds for a village in Kenya, which saw them raise quite a bit (: ...helped out with the clearing up, and was "awarded" truffles hehe.. oh made dinner on saturday night haha was soo afraid I'll muck it up. was on the phone to mom getting advice on what to make. Chicken or pork, how many vege dishes haha.. but it turned out really good... my best steamed egg by far haha.. priscy's recipe which has never failed me.. (:

Spinach with oyster sauce, steam egg with prawns, basil pork, broccoli and prawns and rice... and did it go fast haha.. everything was cleared by the 3 of us that night haha.. so glad it was good *phew* with Auntie Valerie being a good cook the pressure was on from the word go!! hehe... mom would have been proud of me *all smiles*

Sunday morning was church with Auntie Valerie and then off to get Grandpa for lunch where we had a superb lunch at a bar restaurant, good value and good taste... went to see wee jake... auntie valerie's friend, Susan's new puppy!!... Jon would love him to bits... Jake is only 12 weeks old springer spaniel and boy is he active haha.. cant stop running abt and falling too haha.. he is just soo cute... wonder how Dyon is doing (:

Got the train back to Glasgow that night and got back into halls at abt 10.30... long day... Back to class this morning, not to bright but quite early haha... Monday morning - Biomechanics II.. wasnt too bad actually was just a refresher from last year.. didn struggle that much BUT.... afternoon's class Biophysical Instrumentation... OH MY GOD!!! NIGHTMARE!!! Analogues, A/D converters, urm digital what have you.. what has it got to do with my course... u got me... had labs and we were collecting data from a voltmeter usin an A/D converter reader or whatever its called.. no idea what so ever what I or the rest of my class were doing haha we were all left scratching our heads... thank god no more till next monday again....

"Chubs almost no more" will be heading to China in a few hours time.. no skyping with him for 5 days.. that doesnt seem as long compared to the 8 more months till i see him in person.... i know i know i always complain, complain how long i have to be here for but how can i not haha... Pleas kick some chinese ass this time ok?? (:

Laundry day tmr.. first time doing it since I got back.. where is my mummy haha.. haiz but its got to be done... Thats all i guess for now....

Monday is the start of my uni classes... a new year, a new beginning, another time to work hard.. I guess I've grown out of wanting rewards for doing well in any test or exams.. the marks and grades satisfy me and make the parents happy - which is most important aint it haha... trying to outdo my other classmates is kinda a small challenge i set for myself... hopefully this year will be as good as the last.

My baby is doing well at uni as well... we sacrifice so many things that other people do just so that we can see each other for a few hours a day... he has to study, train and spend time with his family.. his friends sometimes take a backseat when I'm away... Chubs chose not to play in this year's SEA Games, and eventhough I would love to see him play, he knows what is best for himself... (: muackz*

I remember how nervous I was when he was playing for the Asean Games in Doha last dec, haha I would go online to check on his live scores, talking to my laptop ;"Comm'on baby, u can do better than just even par!!" hehe.. crazy gf eh...

Well Im just kinda settling back into my routine over here.. think Im not quite over the jet lag yet though. Sleeping at abt 9 10 at night, waking to baby's phone call at abt 8 each morning. Grocery shopping, gym, making lunch and dinner... what else is new.. class starting next week.. time-table isnt really that bad actually. no classes in the late afternoon which is good.

Guess im babbling.. in my usual skype talking position haha but baby is asleep, he has to kick some golfer's ass tmr afternoon hehe... oh well.. cant believe it has been a week since I left Singapore.. missing home so much already.

oh and to make me miss u more.. i saw 2 mx5s today!! yes 2 in like a few minutes!!..

I miss maxi.. but not as much as i miss u baby... muackz... *

Back to sunny at time, but not so sunny other times and windy Glasgow.... Boy has my 4 wonderful summer months have passed just like that...

Back to halls again, staying in slightly nicer accommodation this year.. James Blyth Court, say it like how an English man would say.. James Blyth Court.. sounds awfully posh doesnt it.. ahha well its not.. far from it... just a slight upgrade from Birkbeck Court which i was in last yr.. (:

Here are a few pictures... ignore the stuff lying abt.. u are just looking at the room, the space, the shape, the storage space that they provide things like that... the bed is unmade cos i was snugged under the sheets already when i decided to snap a few pictures, hence the unmade bed hehe....

This is my window blind... i think its pretty cool haha... u press that black switch at the bottom and it rolls up and up if u press it the other way.. nice picture too aint it... (:

Well this is my fav part of the room, the wall that is filled with pictures of me and my chubs (got to think of a new name for chubs soon haha.. "chubby.chubs no more"

I dont think there are many guys around who would be faithful and patient enough to wait 8 months while his girlfriend is somewhere else in the world. Imagine this, you have a girlfriend or a boyfriend, but you only get to spend 4 months out of a year side by side and the rest of the time over the phone or just looking at each other through skype.

You dont get to touch each other, hug each other after fights, say good night or good morning at the same time, you dont get to say, i'll see u later baby for lunch, well u can but online. Who would give up a 'normal r/s' (one where both are in the same country) for this. And for that I thank my boyfriend for always re-assuring me that he'll be there whenever i get back, to be there when i need someone to talk to, to be there when im homesick or sad.. trying his best to make me feel special when he cant be here physically to do it.

Thank you baby... u mean the world to me... I honestly couldn ask for more...

and to all the other boyfriends who have stuck by ur girl.. good on u.. u guys are definitely one of a kind... (:

Mom's in Mongolia hahah wonder how's she is coping.. whether she has had any horse's milk yet haha... guys left at home (dad and brother) wonder how they are coping, guys will be guys... oh well...

have not been blogging recently.. kae kae have not been blogging since i've been back haha.. GUILTY !!!

But but.. i really have not had the time.. haha.. running around the island for good food, working... hmmm spending time with family, Jon, friends... home has just become a place to sleep haha... so ya.. but all good things do come to and end sooner or later.. my apologies to people whom I didn get a chance to meet this summer, there is always next summer kae hehe...sorry ):

Driving theory test on thursday.. gosh not studied for it haha but if my brother can pass it why cant I.. all this just for a Singapore License.. haiz.. one not enough i want both hehe...

Im so gonna miss my 7 o'clock channel 8 show haha... okok Im gonna miss u more baby hehe...

Remember back in secondary sch.. tai dee was the "in" game, we use to play it near the staircase haha.. then it was majong.. oh i loved majong.. was never really good at it though, everyone seem to b quicker at it then I am haha..

But now its "POKER FEVER" hahaa... was not too keen on it at first, but my super addicted boyfriend got me addicted to it too.. haha so addicted that he plays online poker, research poker, know the statistics behind each hand haha... i want one more poker game before i go home please....












haha party poker crazy couple.. at least we are diciplined and dont gamble our money away, fold bad hands, play good cards and bluff our way through everything hha..
