Rain rain go away...

Studying never fails to dulls one's life doesnt it....

So much to do, so little time... Exam time-table is finally out.. get it over and done with in a week. which is good i guess..... but WHY... why must they have it after christmas, where they know perfectly well that no one studies during the christmas holidays... how dumb is that.... -ARGH!!-

everyone at home are in the midst of exams, get to have a stress free holiday period.. sobz.. Chubs just sat his last paper today.. and mine has not even started.. Studying has though but exams are not for another 5 weeks or so..

Haven even started Chirstmas shopping yet.. should really get cracking.

Went to the doctors on thursday (once again, thankz chubs for making me go). Suffered a sprained muscle in my leg, thats why i haven been able to run for the past 2 weeks.. sobz.. was given anti-inflammatory pills. seems to have cleared up.. tried running on the treadmill today, was still a bit tender but getting there. i miss running.. Less den 3 weeks to shape up!!! hee...

16 more days!!

Ice-skating ring and ginormous christmas tree is up on George Square, but with the crap weather that we've been having, who would wanna skate in gale force winds and rain.. =(

Chubs will be away in a few days to Doha, which means i wont get to speak to him as often as i wish. Hate it when he's away. I hope he does well at the games.. says his game has been picking up.. so proud of my Chubs.. muackz... good luck to all the athletes i know who's competing in Doha...

Oh well back to books and notes now i guess.. raining outside as usual with people from downstairs blasting cheezy music.. hall life.. wth.. haha think i cant live without the sun.. rain just depresses me.. and with it getting dark at 4 now, its juz a nightmare.. i miss the sun...

storm invaders!!

We braved stormy weather, heavy rain, gale force winds just to go to the gym... tat is why we were all covered up in our raincoats!!
Its like a hurricane has hit Glasgow!!!.... WET WINDY AND well WET!!!
Dis is wad happens to girls who drink coffee before going to the gym... even after 2 hours in the gym, coffee is still in our system...

Chubs... i will never try to do the things u do .. haha does not work for us as u can tell haha.. no more coffee before the gym from now on... trust me... it does mysterious things to u...

Best Christmas yet???

CHRISTMAS has always been special for me... not only does my birthday fall on it, but it has always been a special day.. For the past 21 years of my life, christmas has always been spent with loved ones, and in Singapore where its nice and warm.

This year, however, I'll be spending it here, in Scotland, in Glasgow. Away from my family, away from my friends... But with another family, my auntie, uncle, grandfather and cousins...

I was somewhat looking forward to a traditional Christmas in Scotland... After having a bad month with my grandfather being sick and all.. I think we will get to see him for Christmas as well =)...

But the best news was yet to come....

to hear Chubs telling me he's coming over to spend Christmas and New Year with me, just made my year complete. The countdown has already begun...

MORE DAYS!!!

Spending Christmas with Chubs is one of the best present i could ever ask for.. and to welcome in the new year with him at the Hogmanay Concert at George Square in Glasgow is an added bonus... I'm dead excited.. planning where to go, where to eat.. gosh a month to go.. how cool will it be!! The icing on the cake would really be if we had a white christmas dis year.. tat would be absolutely brilliant...

Thinking of places to go.. Edinburgh to see the castles, of course the old golf course in St Andrews (think i will get slaughtered if i dun take him there), hopefully squeeze in London (fingers crossed baby)...

It'll be nice to have someone to cuddle up too while we countdown into the New YEar in the freezing cold haha...

Turkey, stuffing the whole works gosh I really cant wait... I get to see my baby after so long.. (well not seen him for abt 4 months, long enough).. hee... Everyone here is excited abt him coming over also... it'll be a great experience for him too! Scottish Christmas.. Got my countdown sheet all printed out, blue-tagged onto the wall (i knoe, me kiasu)

We cant stop talking abt it too.. haha everytime we speak, there's always something abt the trip..

The worst worst ultimate worst part is.. EXAMS STARTS AFTER CHRISTMAS!!!! which means i got to study as well while he is here.. sobz...

Yes MUMMY!!.. I knoe i need to study as well.. dun worry i bet u chubs won let me off as well.. =(

What could i ask for more this christmas... Eventhough i wont be home, I'll have someone close to home with me.. *hugs*

Oh and hopefully by the time Chubs gets here we can go ice-skating on George Square.. How nice would tat be... Never skating outdoors before..

Awww i really really really cant wait...

Dundee-Michelle's 21st/College Reunion

Went to up to Dundee yesterday.. was suppose to have a day and nite out wif just jacqui and lauren.. but was invited to michelle's 21st.. It was good to see everyone again.. Felt to weird to be back in Dundee... so many memories i have of tat place... cant believe i lived there for 2 yrs!!... Didin have time to go back to good old 2 Adelaide Place though (where i use to live =)) took the first train back today.. just got too many things to go.. Took some photos though at the party but realised i didn take any wif Michelle haha the birthday gal... Everyone was steaming drunk!! gosh... haven seen tat in ages haha... Came back to the flat and had to share the floor with Lauren haha it was sooo cold last nite too.. had to snuggle up beside her haha.. dear oh dear.. think chubs got a teeny wee bit jealous.. *winkz* well here are some pictures i took.. didn take much though ahah wasen in the mood for pictures hee.. have to steal pictures from whoever was taking.. =)








Dear LAuren was soooo drunk.. kept taking pictures over and over again coz they werent good ended up wif like so many of the same ones haha...

Ohhh we went to the Overgate (one of the 2 shopping centres in Dundee) and LAuren and Jaqui brought me to see my poster haha they made me take a picture beside it.. I was Sooo embarrassed!!! everyone was looking and pointing.. "oh tats the gal from the poster!" gosh haha we snapped a few pictures and i ran wif my head down haha...

Well didn have much sleep last nite, as we were busy fighting over the one duvet haha.. ended up sleeping like at 4 in the morning and had to get up at 8 to catch the 8.45am train dis morning... cant wait to speak to chubs again.. plus i need to shop for food. haven done tat in like 2 weeks gosh...

*faster eat ur dim sum and come home!.. U better not brag abt it and tell me how good it was...humph*

Back to normal....

Gosh... cant believe 2 weeks has flown by just like that... been travelling on the bus so much this 2 weeks.. Finally said goodbye to my mom and dad at the airport today. Was kinda hard to say goodbye.. wanted to leave with them as well... knowing that i won be back for so many more months juz... juz seems like ages.... Oh thats a picture from outside Jess's window.. the starting signs of autum.... at least the tress still has its leaves...

I wanna give my heartfelt thanxs to everyone who has sent me kind words and words of support... u guys have really been nice to be during my hard times...

My grandfather is better than last week... he has been moved back to his own little town now.. but the thing he needs most now is company. sobz.. was hard to say bye to him today.. We know he will be around for a while just dunno how long for.. its like a waiting game... but tats how its like with old ppl innit? Cant wait to see him for Christmas.. eventhough he wont be at the dinner table.. i'm sure he'll be glad to have everyone by his bedside during christmas...

Oh hey Bestie.. thanxs for the ecard... was a nice thing to come home to today.. =) Hope things are well over on ur side... Exam period coming up... good luck to the both of u ya... let me know how u guys get on.. missing u guys loads...

Dear Chubs... hey... i'm sorry i was not sensitive enough to notice tat something was wrong and tat u are going thru a rough patch too... Like i said to u... eventhough i'm not physically there for u, i'm always just a phone call away.. life can be a pain at times... we've all had our ups and downs... i cant do anything to change it, but i can be here to help u thru it okay?? suffer now enjoy later ya... i promise.... =)

Well thats all for now i guess... got to hit the books tonite.. have been addicted to coffee to keep me awake... am just glad everyone has found someone that has made them happy... coz i know i have... (except my poor little brother hee... ) back to my normal routine and schedule again..

Random post...

I know I've broken my vow in keeping my blog updated... schorrie... =( Just haven had the time and recently the energy to do anything... so just writing a random post, to let u know i'm still alive.... (chubs, i will keep my promise dun worry)....

Back at my auntie's place again for the weekend. At least my dad came to pick me up this time round, dont have to get the bus.. Bus rides are so boring. Will be at the hospital again over the weekend. Brought work to do. need to study.. am so lost with some modules.. gosh they are way harder than i ever though.. jus got to read away...

School work has been piling up, laundry has not been done.. argh.. everything is just falling behind coz i have let it.. i;ve just lost that driving force that i had.. need to get it back and fast.... ahh hai.. wish chubs was here. I jus wan that someone to be beside me, to tell me everything will be okay (eventhough there will be a good chance it will not be).. just to make me feel safe and secure again... sometimes u try to be the most independent person u can be, but at the end of the day, u stil need someone to fall back on... and my someone happens to be miles away.. =( i miss u chubs.... thanxs for re-assuring me. i really needed to know...

i guess i am just in a reminiscing mood.. thinking about things... old things, new things... things to come??

Wonder how long my grandfather will be in this state, one day he can be all fine and dandy, giving u the impression he is getting better... other days he is just not himself. Talking to ppl who arent there, comin up with werid stories, being all confused just so not like him... Its times like tat that makes it hard for us close to him to see him like that.
