Tsk Tsk.... when their only 2 children rough it out in cold cold wet and windy Scotland, their parents live in luxury and style.. I mean who wouldnt right... its the freaking MALDIVES~!!!
Your own villa, your own part of the beach.. sun, sand, clear blue water... arghhh I would trade anything for Glasgow right now... which is kinda the pits at the moment to be honest...

Its the FIRST of DECEMBER~!!!!
Good gosh when did November end and when did December arrive.. Mom and Dad are back from their awesome MALDIVES anniversay holiday (with my dad texting my brother and I the whole time telling us how amazing it is and all - not cool at all)...
Spend the weekend at my Aunt's, criso cold air of Dec has definitely descended.. went to a very cold Dumfries and came back to an even colder Glasgow... one word... brrrrrrrr
Walking the dog under the clear blue sky of Dumfries with the moon shining brightly... it was a really gorgeous night...
You cant have christmas without a christmas tree right.. haha... first time in all my 4 years living in halls, I finally get a tree for the flat.. well technically Hannah and I did.. We took a short trip to Tesco Extra (the massive one) and found a cheap tree, cheap decorations and cheap lights~!!! we made our own star, hence why its looking slightly retarded... the whole thing cost us less than a tenner~!!! Its sitting proudly on our window sill...
And I must have caught the glenn's-super-enthu-about-christmas-bug... Ive been playing christmas songs all day.. humming away to "All I want for christmas is you", "Santa Baby" ahaha... I love christmas songs... (: Taylor Swift's Christmas songs are amazing btw..
We celebrated Katka's name day the other day as well.. apparently, Czech's have 2 birthdays, the day you were born (birthday - duh~!) and a Name Day (for your name obviously) haha.. so when Hannah and I were in Tesco, we decided to get a cake (any reason for cake) we spent the afternoon decorating it haha.. dont ask why its a clown.. it just is... It was one of those cakes that was like a blank canvas and it had 3 tubes of icing in it so we decided to go with a clown haha... Final product...
The next couple of weekends working up to christmas will be busy busy, starting from this coming wekend~!!! loads of things to do.. lots of interesting places to see... wheeee~!!! lots of impromtu booking and planning hahaha... kinda excited about it... Ive been here for the longest time and I wait till now to see things.. talk about taking my time eh.. (:

Uni has definitely taken over my life...
Took the day off today to basically catch up on sleep.. every waking moment is either spent in the library reading up journals, summarising journals and looking for more journals.. not quite hit the half way bench mark Ive set myself for references but Im well underway...
Thank god the gym has been there to keep me sane.. Im exhausted right now after doing a 10k run on the treadmill (plus the 5k challenge yday)...
What I look forward to every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 8am...
The spin bikes... love-hate relationship..Nothing much to update, hence why the almost dead blog... Was gonna catch New Moon tonight.. but thankfully it got cancelled.. I'll definitely watch it when Im more awake..

I had one helluva week last week... many early morning and late nights.. Where do I start... well like I said in the previous post, Halloween was a ball.. was over @ Lexy's for our usual Sunday night cook-out and X factor result show... Poor Rachel, she really didn deserve to go...
Monday and Tuesday was spent in the library reading journals (zzzzz but it had to be done), Wednesday night.. was out but cant remember doing what (brain starting to fail me), Thursday was Guy Fox night, fireworks at Glasgow Green, late dinner and drinks with flatmate @ the Counting, KTV night with the Sing Soc ppl on Friday haha.. videos and pics are all on facebook, Im sure most of you have seen them.. Seeing Alistair singing his lungs out to almost every song...

and did I scream and sing along like a hormonal teenage girl.. I sure as hell did.. not much of the screaming, more of the sing-along.. it was brilliant.... 5 of us went and no one brought a camera.. go figure so it was down to the mobiles so pardon the very bad quality.. but here is just one of the few vids taken...
Sunday night again at Lexy's.. with Sushi and cranberr muffins haha bad mix I know but it worked... X Factor Result show (missed the Live show AGAIN, thank god for youtube) Out goes Lucie Jones.. trust the Twins to still be in.. god grief....

Lots to update as a matter of fact, but surprisingly no time to do it.. Well major decision done, changed my dissertation topic so the work load has started.. been in the library 2 days in a row now.. looking up journals, reading journals...Started my Applied Sports and Exercise Science (ASES) today.. Just watched god knows how much footage of golf on youtube.. trying to understand the swing more.. reading up on everything about golf.. Im almost golf-ed out for the night I reckon...
Was out on Wednesday's International Night with the flatmates. Met Sona who I've not seen in ages and made new friends haha.. I was sooooo tired... all I wanted was to head home to bed...
Halloween was very interesting this year.. was invited to a party on Friday night with the Malaysians but didn have time to get a costume.. so took the easy option.. went as what I would call a Scottish Educated Ned haha... Everyone else put in the effort of dressing up though... haha Alistair went as an Adidas Model haha.. pics are all on facebook...
Saturday night, after X Factor (poor poor Danyl btw), my flatmates and I were planning on taking a walk down town just to see what creatures were out to play that night.. haha Katka has never celebrated Halloween. Well neither have I to be honest. So she wanted to go out, dressed up and all and begged us all to go... so we did.. Mad rush to Primark to find something and we went out.. Pictures are with someone.. not sure who cos I remember taking loads haha.. Katka went as a student and I was her teacher, Anuck went as a gypsy and Hannah initally was gonna go as a Housewife. But the guys we met on wed, who came over to our flat first were all dressed up as babies haha.. so Hannah became their mother..
Went to Kushion, long queue, but thank god it wasnt a cold night. We were all knackered by the end of the night so didn quite stay out as late as we thought we would.. plus I made it to spin the next morning haha quite an achievement really..

Hannah's friend, Breege gave Hannah tickets to the Good Food show. Breege couldn go as she was heading back for the weekend so gave Hannah the tickets who kindly asked me to go with her..We went to the gym in the morning but no one had food in th flat so we went for some amazing crepe for lunch... went to the Good Food show which was basically full of food.. we sampled so much cheese.. it was cheese everywhere.. haha appaently I tasted the best lemon sorbet in Scotland haha but boy is was sour..

I know this post is all over the place.. thurs to sat to monday back to sunday.. my mind is all over the place.. Ive got so much work to do now.. thank god for that! Im happy with my decision.. (:
Fireworks @ Glasgow Green on thurs, KTV Night (which should be hilarious) on Friday night, and its X Factor weekend again~!!
