We were all saying that the excitment seems to be missing for this trip. Exams, time to study, finishing of reports are things that are on our minds instead of this trip haha.. just have to make the most out of it I guess..
We were all saying that the excitment seems to be missing for this trip. Exams, time to study, finishing of reports are things that are on our minds instead of this trip haha.. just have to make the most out of it I guess.. Christmas eve saw both mom and myself stuffing this ginormous bird, being 'virgin stuffers' haha we got right into it... new experience, wouldn know how to explain the feeling haha but the end result was.. slurps* couldn ask for a better stuffed bird... (:
Grandpa Peacock was over on christmas eve and stayed over... christmas eve dinner was already so yummy and so much! pate and crackers, gammon and chips, pavlova and all.. by jinxs... thats to warm up the tummy for whats to come next...!!
Candle lit service it was after dinner... every year without fail, if I am in scotland, we would go to that service.. and this year I couldn have asked for more... attended the service with mom and dad and the brother.... of course auntie and uncle were both there (:
Christmas dinner (lunch).. well pictures says it all I guess.. prawn cocktail for starters, soup next, turkey with ALL the trimmings for most, I passed on the brussel sprouts and mashed carrots and parsnips (not a fan)... dessert had to be put on hold till a couple of hours later.. just could not stomach it after wolfing down that whole lot of food....
nothing beats it.. ♥ and thank god my aunt has it.. jus ripped it onto my laptop.. (:

It was Kirsty's (flatmate) birthday so Hazel and I made a strawberry sponge cake for her this afternoon... Hazel's idea of taping bin bags to Kirsty's room to make it look like her room got broken into as Kirsty was away home for the weekend and only came home this evenin haha... thank god as soon as she saw it she knew it was Hazel's doing haha...

Met the brother early this morning to watch a morning movie (: and I think Im catching MSTM Syndrome... (Mother Sleeping Through Movie Syndrome).. I was desperately trying to stay awake during certain parts of the show haha.. had several nudges from the brother... not that the movie was boring or anything like.. I think I was just tired from a bad sleep the night before...
Anywhooosss... played QMU last night at home.. remember how we lost our away game the last time by like 2 points.. we completely annihilated them this time.. rubbed that smug smiles off their faces hee... *so mean but who cares.. 97-53 final score...Got back my biomech report that I handed in last week.. kinda disappointed with the mark though... no matter how much work and effort I put into it.. ppl always seem to do just slightly better than me.. Life just isnt fair is it.. I spent days on mine while someone else just spent one afternoon and gets the same mark as me.. how annoying.. story of my life really.. oh well..
Fell and scrapped my knee during the game yesterday.. and winter time isnt the best time to do that.. my tights were sticking to it all day.. plus my gym tights were sticking to it too... yuck* (shorts were not dry yet thats why couldn wear them)...
Started on my psych essay.. back to searching and reading journals again... quite an interesting essay this time though.. got to o a case study.. think I'll choose the rugby player who just recoverd from an ACL injury and having trouble getting his 'game' back.. last week were did role playing and had to act like a Sports Psychologist.. fairly enjoyed it to be honest.. hee..
Well think Im gonna do a bit more research before I go to bed..
♥ brownie dreams ♥

Flat inspection tmr.. so was busy cleaning the flat this afternoon after breakfast.. ok more like brunch hee.. tidying up, vacuuming the flat, scrubbing the stoves, doing the dishes.. it sure did take a while.. was knackered by the end of it.. no wonder moms are like so fit haha.. sure is a workout.. Met Mubina and Alistair for some badminton action.. there were 3 of us so we kept rotating... found a bball in the cupboard so I did a bit of shooting while Alistair and Mubina had their first game.. Alistair lost hee.. to be fair he's not picked up a racquet in years... he lost to both Mubina and I in 2 separate matches haha.. think football is more his sport.. (:
Its freezing outside.. this morning was abt -7 degrees... afternoon was so foggy and misty, temperature did not even hit 5 degrees.. met D&A for dinner @ China Blue.. and the walk home by jings... I was frozen by the time I got home.. too cold... far far FAR too cold..
Anyhos... praying hard that we pass the inspection tmr.. flat has never looked cleaner, toilet smells of bleach, living room smells freshly vacuumed... I can finally see the floor in my room haha.. so fingers, arms, toes and eyes all crossed...

And this one ... our so called prom haha.. ended up with just a high-tea thingy... well better than nothing.. secondary sch all we had was a buffet thingy in the canteen after assembly.. haha.. thats the problem with coming from rubbish schools haha.. but at least the company was good.. these girls were my partners in crime in JI! haha.. Alvina was with me for bball training, Pei Xian who sat beside me in class... haha my sleeping buddy and Che Ka for Physics lecture and after training dinners right? haha..
These were from Dundee days... Dundee College didn have any halls of residence so I had to stay with a family who rented out rooms to student.. and was really fortunate to have gotten the Shrimpton Family who were nothing but nice.. 2 girls below were their daughters Mhairi and Eilidh and the girl in orange.. cant remember her name but she was from Germany, training to be a policewoman..
These were the rest of my house mates... can hardly remember most of their names.. lemme give it a go.. From left to right.. thats Rebecca from Greece, Eva from Hungary, Paolo from Spain, Martin from Germany (or at least I think his name is Martin) arghhh really annoyed I cant remember her name.. but the 2 germans were in Dundee for some police exchange programme thingy..

Oh and I used to coach Dundee Swim team while I was at college.. wednesdays and fridays.. gosh my memory is soo bad.. haha.. I coached the 5 to 10 year olds.. most of the time they were a joy to coach, other times well hahah that age group they do tend to get a little cheeky sometimes.. (:Imagine this being your sch grounds.. haha I wouldn mind going to sch everyday... Glasgow Uni, old and prestigious.. Alistair's uni, new and modern.. Mine.. hmmm I'll just leave it at that ahha... (:
Did the ice-cream live up to it reputation???... hell yeah.. it was just the best. Smooth, creamy, everything good ice-cream should have.. what ever that is haha...We went to the Botanic Gardens after that.. not as big compared to the one at home but it was beautiful inside... the sculptures were amazing, all had a story of its one... the one below is of Eve...

By the time we go to Kelvingrove Museum it was already dark.. and it was only 4.45pm.. we only had 15mins to look ard.. so made a beeline for the Mackintosh exhibition....
